We are located about 4 minutes from Jay Peak Resort, 3 minutes from Jay Village, 15 minutes from Montgomery Center, 75 minutes from Burlington, and 30 minutes from Newport. Though the Lodge is set back into the woods for a quiet, private vibe, we are close to grocery stores, restaurants/bars, a gas station, post office, etc.

Local activities

Let’s face it, most of you are coming to Jay Peak in the winter for skiing and riding. But what else is there to do? In addition to skiing, Jay Peak resort features a plethora of amenities that include a year round waterpark, the Jay Peak Pumphouse, an indoor ice skating rink, the Ice Haus Arena, an 18 hole golf course and the the Clips and Reels movie theater, just to name a few.

If trails are your thing we have you covered with lots of options both summer and winter. Vermont’s legendary Long Trail is just a five minute drive away. The town of Jay has a recreational centre which has 15 miles of four season trails just minutes from the lodge’s front door, and in winter the Catamount trail for those into cross country skiing, or the VAST trail system for snowmobilers are both in close proximity as well. There’s so many options for trails we can’t list them all, but if you want more recommendations during your stay just let us know and we can provide lots of options.

If you want to get out and enjoy the sights of rural northern Vermont there are a lot of country roads to drive, which are especially scenic in the fall. We’re only a few minutes away from Big Falls State Park, one of the largest undeveloped waterfalls in Vermont, and it’s less than half an hour to the town of Newport, located on the shores of beautiful Lake Memphremagog with plentiful shopping opportunities, and opportunities to cruise the lake in the summer.
